  • Life Base Workshops

    Last week, some of our pupils took part in the exciting LifeBase workshops, which helped them develop a greater understanding of themselves, how their bodies function, and how to keep themselves safe and healthy. Pupils were enthusiastic and fully engaged in a range of fun, age-appropriate activities designed to support informed decision-making about their health, build let's go let's goself-esteem through inspiring enrichment experiences, and develop essential life skills.

  • Nursery Activities

    The Nursery children have returned to school after the Christmas holidays and jumped straight back into various activities. The children used the interactive whiteboards to practise writing different sounds they have learnt, engaged in sensory play using the sandpit and soft foam, and attempted various mathematics games to develop and reinforce basic numeracy skills. They were all thrilled to return to Nursery and were ecstatic to see their friends!

  • Reception and Nursery Christmas Performance

    Cock-a-Doodle Christmas! Our Nursery and Reception children delighted everyone with their joyful performance, spreading festive cheer with big smiles, songs, and lots of Christmas magic. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the performance and were very excited to sing the songs they had learnt to their audience, clearly demonstrating how they had grown in confidence since September.

  • Year 2 Christmas Performance

    On Wednesday 10th December, our Year 2 pupils reported the sighting of aliens that had landed at Rosedale Primary School! This close encounter led our Year 2 to invite the aliens in to satisfy their inquiries about the meaning of Christmas. They achieved this by acting out the reasons why Christmas is celebrated and persuaded the aliens to enjoy the festivities. In the afternoon, the children enjoyed their Christmas party, especially after all the hard work they put into their full-fledged performance in the morning!

  • Year 5 Christmas Performance

    On Wednesday 3rd December, Year 5 children demonstrate their individual talents as they performed in their annual Christmas show, which this year, told the story of the cruelty of King Herod during the time of Jesus. The performance was linked to the contemporary world, sending out the message that anyone can be a superstar! It was a wonderful musical performance by the children, who sang their songs with delightful enthusiasm. A fun party for all Year 5 pupils then took place, where they all celebrated the end of a very successful day!

  • French Market

    To celebrate the end of the Autumn Term and Christmas, the school organised a French-themed Christmas market, where our school council leaders had the chance to contribute to the organisation of this extravaganza. Children from KS1 and KS2 enjoyed using the target language to purchase Christmas presents and enjoy French patisserie.

  • Bikeability Training

  • Science Practical

    Published 21/11/25

    Year 4 pupils had the opportunity to use a range of electrical components to build simple electric circuits in a practical session. They used a battery, a wire attached with crocodile clips, a light bulb, buzzer, motor and switch. Accepting the challenge, they also built series circuits to demonstrate their deeper understanding of the topic. Pupils used different materials to test whether they are conductors or insulators of electricity. They successfully built small fans using batteries, wires, motors and paper as the blades of their fans.

  • Harvest Festival Collection

    On Wednesday 5th November, the Hillingdon Food Bank came to collect the School’s Harvest Festival donation. The pupils have been learning about how even a small contribution can go a long way in supporting and helping our local community, particularly in these more challenging times. The Hillingdon Food Bank were very grateful for the large amount of food and toiletry items our school was able to collect in support of those who need our help the most.     On Tuesday 21st October, the Year 6 parents, guardians and carers were invited to take part in SATs Workshop. They learnt about what the children are expected to know in preparation for their SATs, the techniques taught in school and even had a go at some of the past questions!
