Rosedale Primary is part of the family of schools sponsored by The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust.  The Trust has a proven track record of success and is responsible for a dramatic upturn in academic achievement locally.

PERFORMANCE IN 2025

The percentage of children achieving a Good Level of Development in the Early Years is 78%

93.1% of pupils passed the Phonics screening test at the end of Year 1

Key Stage Two outcomes:

The percentage of pupils who achieved at least the expected standard in reading, writing and maths was 82.5%, compared to the national average of 62%

The percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard in Reading was 89.5%, compared to the national average of 75%

The percentage of pupils who achieved at a higher standard in Mathematics was 87.7%, compared to the national average of 74%

Our average ‘scaled score’ in reading was 108.9

Our average ‘scaled score’ in mathematics was 109.6
