  • Bikeability Training

    From Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th October, a group of Year 6 children had a real sense of excited achievement as they completed their Bikeability course– a bike-training scheme provided by the London Borough of Hillingdon. They began by learning some basic road safety skills before riding on the roads under strict supervision, around Hayes. At the end of the week, the instructors commented on the excellent behaviour of all the children who attended the course and the progress they all made. Congratulations to all the children who took part!

  • Light and Reflection Investigation

    Year 6 pupils engaged in a science experiment to create a working periscope and explain how the periscope allows them to see objects they would not usually be able to see. Children enjoyed the investigation and were able to discuss and share their findings and record these using diagrams and scientific language

  • Year 6 School Leader Elections

    On Friday 22nd October the Year 6 children casted their votes for the next school leaders of Rosedale Primary school. The children who wanted to stand for election gave speeches to the other children outlining what they stand for and what they would like to achieve as a leader. The children then took part in a democratic vote, writing the name of those who they would like to elect and post it in our ballot box. The children will be eagerly awaiting the results of the election which will be announced very soon!
