  • Year 1 and 2 Sports Day

    Published 30/06/23

On Friday 16th June, the Year 1 and 2 pupils took part in their much-anticipated Sports Day. The children were all excited and eager to take part in the number of activities planned for the day, ranging from the egg and spoon race, penalty shoot-out, an obstacle course and various track events. All the children worked collectively in their tube stations, embodying competitive spirit and skill as well as exemplifying good sportsmanship on the field in celebrating their teammates’ achievements. We even had parent races which saw the children’s parents, guardians and carers get just as competitive as the children and it was great to see the families get into the spirit of Sports Day just as much as their children. Thank you to the Rosedale College Physical Education (PE) Alliance for putting on such a well-organised and varied morning for the children.

  • Rosedale Primary Summer Fair!

    Published 23/06/23

On Friday 9th June we held our Summer Fair and what a fair it was! We were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather which allowed our school community to come together and enjoy everything the fair had to offer. The children got stuck in with the arts and crafts stalls, some children had glitter tattoos and face paint. They enjoyed themselves on the bouncy castle and other outdoor games making sure they later rehydrated themselves with plenty of juice and ice lollies! We were also pleased to see how popular our candy floss stall was! We would like to thank all the children, staff and parents that helped to run the fair and dedicated their time to ensuring everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone that came support the fair, as without the support of the local community, it wouldn’t have been the roaring success that it was!
