STIXX Workshop 4/11/19

On Wednesday 16th October, the Year 6 children took part in the World War II STIXX workshop. With the exciting opportunity to create air raid shelters solely from newspaper and cable ties, the children adopted innovatory methods to construct a shelter large enough to fit all the children in their group. With many creative ideas blossoming, the children succeeded in building a shelter standing upright by feeding rolled up newspaper through the STIXX machine, which turned the paper into solid poles! All of the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the workshop.
